I couldn't narrow down my choices for this weeks TUESDAY TUNE... sooooo I need your help!
Tell me your favorite song! A song that has inspired you! Or a song that you just happen to be in Love with at the moment! Post your choice in a comment and then share a bit about why you like that song!
I will then put all those who comment by next weeks TUESDAY TUNE post in a drawing for a set of 4 photographs!!!
I can't wait to read your stories! :D
Thanks!
I am a single WOG...woman of God. And I mean "single" as in not married...yet. That is who I am for now. I now have a wonderful boyfriend and we are striving to be the couple God wants us to be and to do His will. God teaches me a lot thru my relationship and friendships. I hope you enjoy my stories.

what is it with guys? ha.
what is it with guys that can make them be so into you and friendly and the second you clue them in that you may not be as interested as they are... they become someone else. I mean... its not my problem that I noticed some things that made me want to take a step back and re-evaluate. It doesn't mean I think they are a bad person. It just means I think they may not be the person for me. But apparently... sharing anything of that nature gives them the right to basically... point out my "flaws" and tell me that they deserve more. That they deserve someone who will focus on the positive things about them instead of writing them off for 2 negative things. Which is not actually what happened... but in his mind... because I know what I want... and I don't want to move as fast as he does... I am the one with the issues and he deserves better. Mind you, it has only been a few weeks since we even started talking or met! I don't get it.
I go from one guy who flirted and asked me out and we would have a good time...but then he ends up having a girlfriend out of the blue... to guys who I went out with months ago and then never heard from again telling me nooooow that they really liked me but were not getting the right signals from me (to know I was interested) ?!?! And then when I ask him what he was looking for... he can't tell me! How can I know how to let him know I'm interested if HE doesn't even know!? :)
What's a girl to do?

God is so sneaky
Because I work at the preschool at the church we attend it is easy for people to pass things on to my mom by way of me... This is some sheet music given to me for my mom. Ps. 46:10 is my favorite verse. It says "Be still and know that I am God." :)

We went to the Baton Rouge Tea Party! It was a great event! Thousands of people who are FED up and have had ENOUGH! We are no longer the SILENT majority!
If you are not fed up... you are not paying attention!

On April 15, be part of the Taxed Enough Already (TEA) party rally in your community
On the day you pay your taxes, Wednesday, April 15, join others across the country and in your hometown who will be participating in TAX Day TEA party rallies in front of their city halls. The TAX Day TEA party rally will begin at 12 noon. See this video - the momentum is growing!
Are you fed up with a Congress and a president who:
- vote for a $500 billion tax bill without even reading it?
- are spending trillions of borrowed dollars, leaving a debt our great-grandchildren will be paying?
- consistently give special interest groups billions of dollars in earmarks to help get themselves re-elected?
- want to take your wealth and redistribute it to others?
- punish those who practice responsible financial behavior and reward those who do not?
- admit to using the financial hurt of millions as an opportunity to push their political agenda?
- run up trillions of dollars of debt and then sell that debt to countries such as China?
- want government controlled health care?
- want to take away the right to vote with a secret ballot in union elections?
- refuse to stop the flow of millions of illegal immigrants into our country?
- appoint a defender of child pornography to the Number 2 position in the Justice Department?
- want to force doctors and other medical workers to perform abortions against their will?
- want to impose a carbon tax on your electricity, gas and home heating fuels?
- want to reduce your tax deductibility for charitable gifts?
- take money from your family budget to pay for their federal budget?
If so, participate in the TAX Day TEA party rally, the Taxed Enough Already (TEA) party.
Bring your cell phone and call Congress and the president while attending the TAX Day TEA party rally (Representative and Senators, 202-224-3121; President, 202-456-1414). Tell Every American about this effort by forwarding this invitation to your friends. Together we can make a difference.

geaux thomas geaux!
My cousin thomas on his scooter this morning. I surprised him before I went to work this morning! We went for a stroll around the block. He would tell me how its hard to keep balanced and how he has to use both of his hands. And he kept asking how long it would take to get back to our grandmas house... and said "will it take an hour?!?!?"... he was amazed when i told him only about 5 minutes! (we didn't really go that far... but I think because his little body was working so hard it felt like miles!!!) We raced back to mama hortons house...of course he won! ;-)

TUESDAY TUNE...
I was trying to figure out what song to do this week... and while watching one of my favorite shows (cold case) they played this song. My mom has always told us that this song is what she wants for us. So I think of that when I hear this song. :) My mom is kewl that way.
I HOPE YOU DANCE - Lee Ann Womack
I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat
But always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed
I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Living might mean taking chances
But they're worth taking
Lovin' might be a mistake
But it's worth making
Don't let some hell bent heart
Leave you bitter
When you come close to selling out
Reconsider
Give the heavens above
More than just a passing glance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a real and constant motion always)
I hope you dance
(Rolling us along)
I hope you dance
(Tell me who)
I hope you dance
(Wants to look back on their youth and wonder)
(Where those years have gone)
I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
Dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a real and constant motion always)
I hope you dance
(Rolling us along)
I hope you dance
(Tell me who)
(Wants to look back on their youth and wonder)
